Based fruit acids, or glycolic acid and salicylic acid, the concentration of ready-to-use peels is much lower than that of products used under medical supervision. It’s this lower acid content that makes them softer and therefore very well tolerated by most epidermis, but also sometimes, the addition of soothing compensating ingredients like glycerin or shea butter. All skins can therefore benefit from their actions exfoliating, smoothing and renovating of skin, except for very sensitized epidermis.
In practice : Some are in the form of a mask or solution to be applied, leave on for a few minutes before rinsing. Use them once a week. Others are applied as a lotion, using a cotton pad, each evening after makeup removal and act night after night.
