Duo of carrot-mango juice and red fruit smoothie

Cool off on a hot summer day or start the day with a healthy dose of vitamins with this duo of fruit juice and smoothie.

For 6 persons

For the smoothie

250 g frozen red fruit

500 g of stirred yogurts

1/2 lemon

75 g icing sugar

For the juice

1 bunch carrots (700 g)

1 large mango

1 lemon

3 cm fresh ginger


Step 1

Pour the red fruits into the bowl of a blender and add the yogurt (or only half if the capacity of the bowl is not sufficient), icing sugar and the juice of half a lemon. Mix finely at high speed, add the rest of the yogurt if necessary and serve in a pitcher. Add a little milk if necessary.

2nd step

Peel the carrots and cut them into pieces. Peel the ginger and chop them. Put everything in the centrifuge, adding the lemon juice at the end. Peel the mango, remove the stone and put it in the blender with the carrot juice. Serve chilled.

Stage 3

It is best not to prepare carrot-mango juice too far in advance because it tends to divide (clear juice and pulp) if it is not served quickly.
