Rib steak marinated in red wine

Who says summer, says barbecue and who says BBQ says meat to grill! Let yourself be tempted by this recipe of steak marinated in red wine ... To be consumed without moderation!


For 4 people.

Preparation: 10 minutes. baking : 6 min. Waiting : 2 h.

  • 2 thick steaks of 400 g
  • 25 cl full-bodied red wine
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 mixed pepper mill
  • fleur de sel


1) In a dish just large enough to hold the steaks, mix the wine, soy sauce, oil and pressed garlic. Add the meat and let it marinate for 1 hour 30 minutes in the refrigerator, turning it several times. Take the dish out of the cold and leave to marinate for another 30 min.

2) Drain the meat and dry it in absorbent paper. Add a generous amount of pepper and sprinkle with rosemary. Cook the steaks on the barbecue, 3 to 5 min on each side depending on whether you prefer blue or medium.

3) Let them rest for 5 min under an aluminum square (do not wrap them completely). Sprinkle with fleur de sel and serve immediately.
